Moving into Chuo City
Within 14 days of establishing your new address in Chuo City, you need to notify the city of your address change by submitting the certificate of moving out you received when you filed to move out from your previous address. You will also need to show your residence card or special permanent resident certificate. Please bring your individual number card with you as well. Your new address will be updated on it at the city office service counter.
Moving out of Chuo City
You need to notify Chuo City when you move out. The notification can be accepted about two weeks before your actual moving date. At the time you file your notification, you will be issued a certificate of moving out.
Moving within Chuo City
Within 14 days of your move, you need to file notification of the change in address, presenting your residence card or special permanent resident certificate. Please present your individual number card as well. Your new address will be updated on it at the city office service counter.
