Please make use of various Foreign-Language Interpretation Service
We have established a multilingual interpretation call center to assist with procedures at the Chuo City Office. We also provide videophone interpretation using tablets at the city office counter.
Chuo City Foreign Language Interpretation Call Center
A call center operator (interpreter) connects the call to any section in charge, then the communication shall be kept on among the resident, the office staff, and the interpreter.

The service is closed on Weekend Holidays, any National Holidays and Year-end Holidays.
2D code and special web site for Interpretation Service
Interpretation is available by clicking the 2D code or link to a dedicated web page
- 2D code for foreign language Interpretation Service
Simply scan the 2D code with your smartphone or other device to access a dedicated web page, select your language, and a call will be made to the interpretation call center, where you can use an interpreter. You can also use an interpreter by following the same procedure if you go to a dedicated web page via a link.
Fees
The interpretation service is free of charge, but you will be responsible for any telephone or communication charges.

English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Nepalese, Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Hindu and French.

Video Phone Interpretation
An interpreter interprets communications between foreign visitors and the office staff through the Video Phone. If you need an interpretation, please ask for it to the staff at the counter.

Magokoro Station, Resident Affairs Section, Taxation Section, Health Insurance and Pension Section, Child-Rearing Support Section, School Affairs Section, Community Welfare Section, Nihonbashi Special Branch, Tsukishima Special Branch, Harumi Special Branch, Chuo City Public Health Center, Nihonbashi Health Center, Tsukishima Health Center, Harumi Health Center, Family and Children Support Center, Child Development Support Center
Note: This service can also be used in sections other than the one where it is installed. Please ask the staff at the counter.
