Greetings from the Mayor of Chuo City

Yoshihide Yada, Mayor of Chuo City
@Chuo City is located at the very center of Tokyo, the national capital. In the 400 years since the Edo Period, the town has prospered as a center of culture, commerce and information in Japan. While inheriting history and tradition, the city continues to grow as a cosmopolitan center, full of vibrant activity and always leading the times. In addition, with an increase in the population over recent years, the city is working on improving support programs in areas such as welfare, education and child-rearing, together with care for the environment, as we aim to become a comfortable city centered around its people.
@This guidebook for everyday living includes information on topics such as administrative services that are important to everyday life so that everyone who lives, works and studies in Chuo City can quickly grow accustomed to life and customs in Japan and we can all support the local community together. I hope you will keep this guidebook as a handy reference and enjoy your life in Chuo City, a town filled of many attractive qualities.
